Due to recent storms, the city of KCMO has asked us to extend our free residential drop-off days throughout the next two weeks at two of our local drop-off yards.

The Northland location at 11660 N. Main St will be free Monday through Saturday starting 10/16/2026, and will remain free until after 10/31/2026, where it will return to it’s normal pay-during-week scheduling.

We’ll also be temporarily reopening our more central location at 1815 N. Chouteau Trafficway starting on 10/17/2026. It will also run free for KCMO residents Monday through Saturday until after 10/31/2026. Afterwards, it will return to being open only on Saturdays and only for free residential drop-off. As a reminder, the Chouteau drop-off yard will be closing permanently after 12/12/2026.

Standard free residential drop-off rules apply: Proof of residency in KCMO via a Driver’s License must be shown, and contractors/landscapers/arborists must pay to drop-off (as they are commercial rather than residential)
